Abstract

The American College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) has developed a niche as a political and legislative resource for nurse practitioners (NPs). With headquarters in Washington, DC, it is viewed as an excellent organization for information about NP policy by the executive branch, health care policy makers, legislators, and business and industry. This position of confidence and respect has been achieved over many years of work.
